How to use the Ultimate muscle building technique properly to gain an extra edge at the gym. When used in conjunction with a high intensity workout drop sets can increase your performance in the gym. Building muscle using drop sets will dramatically increase your muscle size and density. The fact is most people overlook this aspect of weight training or over use this technique for building serious muscle mass.
A drop set is usually performed after your muscles have been maxed out. You have performed the exercise to failure, but want more strength to lift that extra 5 pounds or so next time. Well... by performing drop sets properly, you will achieve a muscle building technique that allows more blood to fill the muscle. Everyone knows that pumping more blood into the muscle will make your muscles look fuller and harder.
So… How do you perform a successfully drop set? I usually try to max out on bench press and then decrease the weight by 5 pounds. Perform the bench press at this new weight until your muscles are again maxed out. Continue performing drop sets 2 more times by decreasing the weight and perform the exercise to failure. Usually a good rule of thumb is to decrease the weight just twice when performing drop sets.
This Ultimate muscle building technique is good way to increase muscle size, muscle density or just get over that stubborn plateau. Try just using this technique once or twice a month, so you avoid over-training. The next time you do not see the results you want try using this muscle building tip to hurdle that plateau.
